Colter's Texas Bar-B-Q was built on a simple belief: great barbecue doesn't need shortcuts. Since the early 1980s, we've been slow-smoking meats over real mesquite wood using the same time-honored recipes that brought customers through our doors on day one.
We're a family operation — always have been. The pits, the recipes, the people. That consistency is what turns first-time visitors into regulars, and regulars into family.
Today, we operate two locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, serving the same pit-fired BBQ that's been our standard from the beginning. The neighborhoods have grown around us. The recipes haven't changed.
